Philip S. Brown
President, Chief Executive Officer
After extensive success in the Financial Sector, Philip S. Brown founded Quantum Group in 1996 to serve clients in consolidating industries. In Quantum, you have a tenacious leader at the forefront of the negotiation process. To date, Phil has produced over $500 million in completed transactions and a lot of happy clients.
Prior to establishing Quantum Group Phil served as Vice President for a mid-sized M&A firm where he helped facilitate over $100 million in contracts. As Senior Account Executive of the Equitable Financial Companies of New York, Phil structured benefit packages for the largest physician groups in Arizona, providing the secure asset management, solid estate planning and general financial services that allow doctors to focus on more important concerns: their patients. Before joining Equitable, Phil was a broker for a New York-based investment-banking firm, managing a portfolio of $125 million and enabling small cap companies to launch successful IPOs.
His experience and entrepreneurial instinct give him a vital connection to small-business owners and industry insiders alike. In Quantum Group, he is fulfilling his dream of creating a M&A firm that represents clients’ interests first and foremost; protecting their life’s work and securing the best possible deal for the sale of the business they sacrificed and worked hard to build. This is the secret of Quantum Group’s continued success: caring for clients.
Quantum Group clients succeed and thrive because from the start of Quantum Group, Phil’s effective leadership and proven business model has proven to be profitable and resilient. His business acumen, vision, and ability to develop relevant, lasting relationships among industry peers has guided Quantum Group’s clients through the highs and lows of various markets and the potential pitfalls of two recessions.
Quantum Group maintains its corporate offices in Overland Park, Kansas. Phil lives happily in Leawood, Kansas, with his wife, Amber, and two of their five children.
